Greetings, all! I hope that you’ve all had a chance to come down the library to sign up for summer reading – already hundreds of you have!
Here’s what’s going on next week in the Children’s department (June 25th-June 29th). All of our programs are free and all children will earn raffle tickets for attending. Don’t forget – the library is air conditioned! It’s the perfect place to be on a hot, summer day! Just a reminder – whenever there is a program during scheduled story times, the program will take the place of the story time.
Monday, June 25th @ 10 AM – Two Right Feet will perform a sensational musical show!
Tuesday, June 26th @ 9:30 AND 10:00 AM – Mother Goose will visit the library to do songs and nursery rhymes!
Tuesday, June 26th @ 6:30 – Steve Woyce will be here for a special turtle show! Come meet, and learn about, turtles!
Wednesday, June 27th @ 6:00 PM – Come and meet the author ofGwendolyn the Graceful Pig, David Ira Rottenberg! Members from the Nutmeg Ballet will perform the story!
Thursday, June 28th @ 6:30 PM – Vic & Sticks, a musical duo, will present silly songs using instruments made from recycled items!
